The Waddensea an the marshlands are getting National Park

The National Park Waddensea is reaching from the Tøndermarshlands in the South to Blåvandshuk in the North

The National Park Waddensea is one of most valuable tidal areas. For lots of birds the Waddensea is a important place to break and furthermore it´s one of the most important places to winter in Europe.

The Waddensea was named National Park the 17. January 2008. The officially opening is 2010.
