Tastes differ in Southern Jutland
Traditions and innovations join hands in the love of good food in Southern Jutland

Does this sound exaggerated? Then think of all the culinary traditions connected with the South of Denmark: Delicious sausages, lamb from the marshes, rye bread from South Jutland...

And who has never heard of the coffee table of South Jutland with lavish cakes?
Add to this, that these traditions have been developed, revised and supplemented with novelties.

Today you can buy all kinds of food produced in the fantastic South Jutland, where the Wadden Sea is reflected in the spacious skies.

Sønderjyske Madglæder have organised the taste of South Jutland. 20 food manufactures and suppliers in South Jutland have made it their business to enrich your visit and your delight in food.

Some of the best food in the country comes from Southern Jutland!
The flavours of South Jutland go all the way from Højer Pølsers 100 different kinds of sausages to black currant juice from a private plantation, to include home ground flour at a farm miller’s and deer beef from a local deer farmer.

You can buy the fresh ingredients for the traditional stewed kale of South Jutland, or you can choose tender and ripe steaks of limousine meat. In addition, you can get a close look at the entire production process.

To enjoy Sønderjyske Madglæder is not only to be able to bring extraordinary good flavours along home in your luggage. It is also the chance to learn, at first hand, the story of how they were produced.

A tour with taste
